Principle Investigator:Sheng Yao（姚晟） Sheng Yao received the B.E. degree in mechatronics engineering and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the South China University of Technology, Guangzhou, China, in 2016 and 2021, respectively. He was also a joint Ph.D. Student at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, University of Toronto, Canada, from 2018 to 2019. He is currently an Associate Professor with the School of Biomedical Engineering, Southern Medical University, Guangzhou, China. His research interests include medical robotics and high-precision vision systems, with applications to cell surgery. 姚晟，南方医科大学生物医学工程学院副教授、硕士生导师，本科和博士均毕业于华南理工大学，2018至2019年曾在加拿大多伦多大学开展联合培养博士研究工作，于2021年加入南方医科大学生物医学工程学院工作至今，2023年起双聘于南方医院。 长期从事医疗机器人感知与操控研究，致力于面向细胞手术的微操作机器人系统研发，并将其用于第三代试管婴儿技术的胚胎活检自动化。主持国自然青年项目、广东省自然科学基金项目、广州市科技计划面上项目、广东省医学科研基金等各级科研项目。
